Subject:    Mailing #134: Election of the Second CIML Vice-President


Dear CIML Members,

During the 41st CIML Meeting in Cape Town this coming October, the CIML will be electing a
Second CIML Vice-President. The original call for candidacies was sent
to you on 15 September 2005; BIML Circular 05/524 refers:

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that candidacies for this position
are to be received at the BIML no later than 15 June 2006, accompanied by a CV. The BIML will
then forward the list of candidates and their respective CVs to all CIML Members so that the
latter will have enough time to examine them prior to the CIML Meeting.

The procedure for the election of the CIML President and Vice-Presidents, which was sent for
postal approval at the same time, has not yet received enough responses to be approved in this way.
If you have not yet voted, may we request that you please do so urgently. If we still do not receive
enough postal votes, we shall have to submit the procedure for voting during the 41st CIML Meeting.
