Subject:    [BIML Mailing #266]: Inquiry - Implementation of OIML Publications

Dear Colleagues,

As we do before each International Conference, we have compiled an inquiry 
concerning the degree of implementation of OIML Publications by Member States 
and Corresponding Members.

Whereas in previous Conference years we distributed paper copies, for 2008 the 
inquiry is now accessible online via the Members’ Page of the OIML web site: 
http://www.oiml.org/members.

As it is linked in to our online database, as soon as you have completed the 
inquiry your data will be instantly stored on our server, hence saving us time 
as the BIML will not have to sort and analyze the results manually.

We have endeavoured to make the online forms as easy to fill in as possible. 
Whilst there are a number of pages to fill in, you do not have to complete them 
all in one session; you may finish in a subsequent session or even in subsequent 
sessions. And the fact that the inquiry is now online means that you may update 
the relevant information each time a new or revised regulation is issued in your country.

This inquiry will therefore become a permanent source of information for all 
stakeholders concerning the existing regulations – and their degree of implementation – 
in OIML Member States and Corresponding Members.

We would be grateful if you would kindly complete the inquiry as soon as possible, 
so that we can make comprehensive information available prior to the 13th Conference 
which will be held in Sydney at the end of October.
