2008.12.16: OIML R 71:2008 - Fixed storage tanks. General requirements (published).

Note: R 85-1/2 and R 85-3 are currently being edited and will be published in January 2009.


2- OIML Bulletin http://www.oiml.org/bulletin

2008.12.16: The January 2009 OIML Bulletin has been published as a PDF file. 
In addition to the regular technical and general articles, this  issue contains 
the Resolutions (and a number of photos) of the Sydney meetings plus accounts 
of the recent OIML TC 6 meeting, the Joint ILAC/IAF General Assembly, and the 
24th ISO/CASCO Plenary Meeting. The paper version is being printed and will be 
mailed out at the beginning of January 2009.


3- Online voting http://www.oiml.org/members

We would remind those CIML Members who have not already done so to please vote, 
at your earliest convenience, on the following two projects submitted for 
Direct CIML online approval:

- Revision of R 134-2: Automatic instruments for weighing road vehicles 
in motion and measuring axle loads. Part 2: Test report format (Deadline 31 December);

- Revision of R 80: Road and rail tankers with level gauging. 
Part 1: Metrological and technical requirements (Deadline 18 January).

2008.12.15: The first OIML MAA Certificate was issued by the NWML 
(for a well known manufacturer) against R 49 Water Meters and registered 
by the BIML.

2008.12.15: General information

Considering the decisions of the 43rd CIML Meeting held in Sydney and 
the conclusions of the first OIML TC 3/SC 5 Meeting held in Paris, this 
page has been updated.

2008.12.10: Documentation

The syntheses of OIML Conference and CIML decisions related to the MAA 
(see heading "General") have been updated to include the decisions of the 
13th OIML Conference and 43rd CIML Meeting.

OIML MAA 02 is no longer needed since OIML D 30 "Guide for the application of 
ISO/IEC 17025 to the assessment of Testing Laboratories involved in legal metrology" 
has been published. Consequently OIML MAA 02 has been withdrawn from the heading "General".

Presentations on the OIML MAA given at the APLMF Training session on water 
meters and at the 43rd CIML Meeting have been uploaded under the heading 
"PowerPoint Presentations".

2008.12.09: R 60 and R 76 DoMCs

The list of R 60 CPR Members has been updated to take into account changes 
in the representative for the United States.
