Subject:  [BIML Mailing #297]: Direct CIML Online Approval (SO2 - Reminder)

Dear Colleagues,

On 18 February 2009 we uploaded the new Draft Recommendation "Instruments for continuous measuring 
SO2 in stationary source emissions" for direct CIML online approval.

Whilst the deadline of 15 May has not yet been reached, as at today only eight (8) 
CIML Members have so far voted.

We would therefore respectfully remind you:

1 - That it is one of your responsibilities as CIML Member to vote on draft publications 
submitted for CIML direct online approval or for CIML preliminary ballot.  
You should also remember that the Directives for the technical work require reasons 
to be given for an abstention or a negative vote.

2 - That the importance of timely online voting in order to accelerate the OIML's 
technical work has been stressed at all recent CIML Meetings.

The BIML Contact Person for this DR is Régine Gaucher; any queries should please 
be directed to her.
