technical work

Dear Colleagues, 

As promised at the 44th CIML Meeting in Mombasa, please find attached three 
files concerning the revision of the Directives.

- directives_draft_3_1_description.pdf is an explanation of the proposed 
changes to the Directives and to the structure of OIML techncial work.

- td1_wd3_1a_20100122.pdf is a draft revision of the Directives which 
maintains the current procedures for the CIML approval of different 
publications.

- td1_wd3_1b_20100122.pdf is a draft revision of the Directives which adopts a 
single CIML approval procedure for all publications, as explained in the first 
file mentioned above.

As mentioned in the first file, I would appreciate receiving your comments on 
these proposals on or before 1 March 2010, to enable a discussion to take 
place on the revision of the Directives at the Presidential Council meeting.
