Subject: [BIML Mailing #343]: OIML R 126 Breath alcohol analyzers  - CIML online ballot and comments

Dear CIML Members,

The Draft revision of OIML R 126 : Breath alcohol analyzers was submitted for preliminary CIML online 
ballot and comment on 12 January 2010, with a deadline of 31 March 2010. 
Please refer to BIML Circular 10/183 (attached for reference).

As at today, only 2 CIML Members have responded, meaning that the votes of 55 Member States are still outstanding.

We would like to remind you that it is one of the responsibilities of CIML
Members to vote on draft publications submitted for CIML online
approval or online ballot, according to the Directives for the technical work.

The importance of timely online consultation in order to accelerate the OIML's
technical work has been highlighted at all recent CIML Meetings, and we would
therefore ask that you visit the Members' page of the OIML web site and vote
as soon as possible and in any case before 31 March 2010. Please note that 
there will be a report and discussion on voting performance at the Presidential Council
Meeting next week in Paris.
