We are pleased to announce that the web site for World Metrology Day (20 May 2011) is now online:

The theme of this year's event is "Metrology in Chemistry" and is tied into the 
International Year of Chemistry (IYC).

Jointly created and maintained by the OIML and the BIPM as a team project involving a number of staff 
from both Organizations, the site provides information on IYC, and posters are also available for download.

If your Country/Organization is organizing a special event to celebrate the 2011 World Metrology Day, 
please contact us so we can publish it on the site.
