Dear Colleagues, Earlier this year we announced the organization of a seminar on Conformity To Type (CTT), The objective of the seminar is to investigate the possible options for an OIML CTT Program and to formulate proposals for consideration by the CIML at its 46th meeting (Prague, October 2011). For the latest information about the program, venue and other, practical information, please visit the seminar web site at: http://www.oiml.org/seminars/2011_CTT/. We would like to ask your assistance in the preparation of the seminar: We would welcome a short description of any system in operation in your country that addresses the issue of conformity to type. In other words: what mechanisms are in place in your country to ensure that measuring instruments comply with the approved type? A description of maximum one page would be appreciated. Please send this text by e-mail, no later than 20 June 2011 to me, so that it can be distributed to the participants in the seminar. If you, or an expert of your organization would like to attend the seminar and have not yet registered, please do so on-line at: http://doodle.com/w58ubtaz5xet8295.
