Dear Colleagues, 

As you will recall from BIML e-mailing to Members no. 408 dated April 7, 2011
(https://www.oiml.org/members/mailings/408.txt) the deadline for preliminary 
voting on the draft revisions of OIML Basic Publications B 3 and B 10 is now quickly approaching.

Regrettably, however, as at today’s date (27 June), the BIML has only received 9 votes.

I would like to thank those of you who have already submitted your votes, and at the same time 
remind all other CIML Members that it is one of your responsibilities as CIML Member to vote 
on draft publications submitted for CIML direct online approval or for CIML preliminary ballot. 

Please also note that the "Directives for the technical work" require you to give reasons 
for an abstention or a negative vote. 

The importance of timely online voting in order to accelerate the OIML's technical work has 
been stressed at all recent CIML Meetings. In this case it is crucial to have the votes and 
especially any comments on time, to develop, if necesary, revised versions and submit them 
to the 46th CIML Meeting for final approval.
