Transport
From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport there is a convenient direct railway link to Utrecht. From the arrivals hall it is about a five minute walk to the railway station, which is located underneath Schiphol Plaza.
Buy your ticket at the yellow vending machines in the arrivals hall or in Schiphol Plaza. A single ticket to Utrecht (Centraal Station)will cost EUR 7,70 (2nd class) or EUR 13,10 (1st class).
You may also buy e-tickets in advance via the internet (www.ns.nl/cs/Satellite/travellers) where you will also find the timetable. Travel time is 33 minutes.
To make your way from Utrecht Centraal Station to your hotel by public transport, please consult the hotel’s web site, or use the “9292 Journey Planner” (http://journeyplanner.9292.nl/) for a door-to-door journey plan within the Netherlands. Taxis are also available, but they are relatively expensive.
There is a convenient bus link between Utrecht Centraal Station and the Centraal Museum: Line 2 (named “Museumkwartier ringlijn”) leaves 4-5 times an hour from the bus station at the north side of the train station and takes about ten minutes (see www.gvu.nl/lijndetails.aspx).
